We are an internationally renowned industrial steel fabricator and steel bending company. Established in 1974, in the Stoney Creek / Hamilton area serving the energy, resources, primary metals, marine, construction, architectural, and environmental industries.
We have an immediate opportunity for a full time day shift opportunity available for a qualified DZ Truck Driver.
- Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles.
- Perform vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance before, during and after trips.
- Deliver steel products to customers mostly locally.
- Verify delivery loads ensuring all freight is strapped and secured properly.
- Maintain a clean vehicle (interior and exterior).
- Keep complete and accurate records/logs.
- Must be able to perform tasks, when shipping is low and demands need to be met around the shop.
Requirements
- Possess a valid DZ Driver’s license with clean driver abstract.
- Minimum 5 year experience driving flatbed trucks.
- Experience with hauling steel or heavy material..
