Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This position involves a combination of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring that products are efficiently stored, handled, and delivered to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service while being able to perform heavy lifting and operate warehouse equipment.
Duties
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods to various locations.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of products within the warehouse as needed.
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and product availability.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting client needs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
