## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Driver/Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the door and trim business, assisting in all yard operations with loading and unloading client orders. Any other skills to excel in a busy work environment would be ideal.
## Responsibilities
- General understanding of working on a construction site (in this case a lumber yard)
- Drive cube van to deliver doors and trim to retail customers and small builders
- Operate forklift, and other heavy equipment as needed
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized yard area
- Assist with loading and unloading materials onto and off of trucks
- Support in building and assembling tasks as required
## Skills
- Driver's licence as required to drive a cube van for deliveries
- Experience with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling (preferred but no required)
- Knowledge of distribution processes
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment problems
- 1-3 years experience working in construction industry, preferably as a driver and working in a busy yard hauling materials.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
