We are growing again. This is a Yard Associate position in our Delhi location. This is a physically demanding position that works an 8 hour shift with a 1 hour unpaid lunch and 2 paid 15 minute breaks 5 days a week.
Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
- Work with customers to gather the material they purchased
- Prepare orders to be delivered
- Delivering material to customer locations in a safe, friendly and efficient manner
- Unload trucks and put the material in there homes
- Translate strategic goals into practical action
- Use strong planning and organizing skills to keep the yard clean and organized
- Ensure physical inventory is accurate, performing random product cycle counts - as requested by the yard manager
Job requirements:
- Able to work alternating Saturdays
- Valid G class Drivers license
- Able to carry sheet goods and lift 80lbs
- Able to operate a forklift - or confidant enough to learn to operate.
- A positive "can do" attitude.
- Previous inventory organization experience is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills
