The Barking Barber, located in Ottawa in the Hintonburg/Wellington West neighbourhood, is looking for a senior level dog groomer to work 5 days a week.
REQUIRED SKILLS
· EXCELLENT customer service skills
· At least 2.5 years of full time grooming experience
· Experience with all breeds, clips, and patterns
· Ability to groom all sizes of dog
· Strong scissoring and clippering skills
· Your own tools
· A good knowledge of safe handling and pet behaviours
ASSET SKILLS
· Hand stripping
· Cat grooming
· Certification
You will need to perform bathing and full grooming services for pets for a diverse range of pet owners. Attention to detail is key. As you know, this job role is physically demanding and involves standing, bending and lifting.
