We are looking for dog savvy candidates to assist in the day to day operation of our Dog Daycare.
Looking to hire for the following afternoon shift Monday-Friday equaling to 15-20hrs/week with possible extra hours if available.
This is a 6 month contract with potential to extend.
Monday to Friday - 3am-6pm
Job Duties/requirements:
- Interacting with dogs (including socializing and behaviour correction)
- Must be comfortable feeding and administering medication
- Cleaning
- Communicating and working within a team.
- Be task oriented, driven and have good time management skills
- Have knowledge on dog communication skills and basic training.
- Have own transportation
- Talk to owners comfortably and confidently.
- Okay with being outside in all elements
- Work in a team atmosphere but also independently without constant instruction
You will experience multiple personalities and traits as well as all sizes of dogs. Must be comfortable around large bread dogs. Experience with different breeds is encouraged.
