So, if you’re looking to do what you love, we could be a perfect match.

Be a pillar of operational excellence! As a dispatcher, you’ll play a key role in optimizing delivery efficiency, balancing customer needs with RONA operational standards.

Your role:

  • Optimize delivery routes to maximize vehicle capacity and reduce travel time and distance
  • Assign vehicles and drivers to routes while ensuring proper management of specialty products
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure all next-day orders are planned and ready
  • Communicate staffing and equipment requirements to manager and handle daily operations (calls, emails)
  • Coordinate with dispatch to address requests, maintain driver logs, and resolve issues in real time

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in logistics scheduling and coordination, with experience in logistics scheduling, factoring in delivery constraints, traffic, and vehicle specifics
  • Understanding of building materials and related products, as well as inventory levels
  • Leadership skills, with a talent for motivating, delegating and communicating effectively
  • Keen attention to detail and quick adaptability to the unexpected

By joining the RONA family, you’ll enjoy many benefits, such as:

  • An inclusive and safe working environment
  • Promotion of work-life balance
  • Exclusive employee discounts
  • Benefits: insurance (certain conditions apply), annual salary review, etc.
  • Opportunities for advancement within the company
  • An employer that’s involved in the community
  • Teamwork and ongoing training
  • A comprehensive training program for all new hires
  • A student incentive program
  • And much more!

If selected for an interview, please advise our Human Resources team if you require accommodation during the interview and assessment process and we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs.

RONA is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion. We are pleased to consider applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, colour, religion, sexual orientation, gender, nationality, age, disability, or any other protected status.
