Dishwasher - Part Time | Pür & Simple Barrie South
Pür & Simple in Barrie South is looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to support a busy breakfast and lunch restaurant.
Position Details:
- Part-Time: 3-25 hours per week
- Shift Times: Between 7 AM - 4 PM (No evenings!)
- Availability: Weekend and holiday availability required!
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment as needed
- Assist in basic kitchen prep tasks as directed by kitchen staff
- Support line cooks with kitchen duties during busy periods
- Clean and maintain the kitchen, prep areas, walls, floors, and storage spaces
- Ensure cutting tools and machines are cleaned and maintained
- Stock and organize food items in the fridge, freezer, and dry storage
- Polish cutlery and maintain service ware for the dining room
- Remove waste and maintain cleanliness in garbage and recycling areas
- Must be able to lift heavy dish racks, pots, and supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience is a plus but not required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be physically capable of lifting and standing for extended periods
