Boreal HD is hiring a Directional Drill Operator and a Labourer. Opportunity for advancement and on site training provided.
Primary Duties:
- Load, unload equipment and tools in a safe manner
- Equipment Maintenance
- Operating small equipment and hand tools
- Inspect equipment regularly pre and post operating
- Hand dig using a shovel or other mechanical tools as required
- Keep an organized and safe work environment
- Restore disturbed areas of the job site
Qualifications
- Preferred minimum of 1 year experience working in the construction industry
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with foreman and coworkers effectively
- Ability to work in a safe and professional manner
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work long hours when necessary.
- Must be in physical condition, and have the ability to squat, bend at the knees and waist and lift 50 pounds.
- Require minimum Class 5 license
- Applicant must be able to work independently or as a team
Secondary Qualifications
· Directional Drilling experience or Locating Experience is an asset
· Class 3 W/ Air or Class 1 driver’s license is an asset
· Experience Operating Heavy Equipment
- First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), other Safety Courses would be an asset.
Locations include: Winnipeg, Surrounding Winnipeg area.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
