Job Overview
Sterling House is an assisted living facility for independent seniors. We provide meal services for Brunch (10:00am - 1:00pm) and Dinner (3:45pm - 6:30pm). Our residents are our top priority. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to deliver high-quality food and service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
As a server you would be responsible for taking food and drinks orders (Brunch / Dinner) in a professional, courteous and hospitable manner to our tenants, while ensuring tenants with allergies or dietary restrictions are receiving the appropriate meals according to their diet. You’d be required to clean/bus and reset your tables in a timely and efficient manner, all while promoting a restaurant style experience for our tenants with a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully.
- Assist residents with any inquiries or special requests, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.
