This critical role is part of a team responsible for on-site measurements, the creation of Digital Templates and production drawings for products including counter tops, fireplace surrounds, windowsills, wall installations, floor inlays, etc.
The Requirements & Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, you need the following skills and/or experience:
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with digital templating systems/equipment;
- Comfort in Metric and Imperial;
- Experience using CAD software;
- History as a CAD Designer or Draftsman in construction, cabinet or furniture design;
- Experience as a carpenter, contractor, framer, cabinet installer, or other tradesman;
- Experience with construction blueprints;
- Hold a valid driver's license without limitations;
- Able to pass a background/security check;
- Detail orientated, with excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Effective communications skills, both verbal and written;
- Previously exposed to either templating (measuring) or installing natural stone will be considered an asset but not a necessity.
