As the Digital Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will design, develop, implement, track and optimize a global digital marketing strategy to maximize reach, action, conversions and engagement across Human Appeals digital portfolio. Delivering communications that help the organization capitalize on every opportunity to retain and engage with their donors / supporters / affiliates and partners. All in order to drive Human Appeals global online strategy and brand online, ensuring integration with all offline channels.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager:
- Establish, drive and manage a coherent integrated global digital marketing strategy, using the full mix of digital acquisition techniques PPC / search, display / programmatics, affiliates / partners and social media channels (paid and organic).

Manage the social media team to ensure marketing activities focusing on TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn and YouTube and others as appropriate build Human Appeals online community, brand, engagement and income streams.

Ensure the social media team manage each social media channel and that they are scheduled and filled with content marketing calendars in-line with organization-wide campaigns.

Devise, implement and monitor compliance of the organizational wide social media policy.

Implement digital marketing channel strategies / plans including budgeting for PPC, display, programmatic, video marketing, social media and other paid campaigns, and support / manage our external agency on a day to day basis.

Plan workload for campaigns, including the briefing of collateral required for all digital marketing.
- Create and build digital campaigns, managing online budgets accordingly, along with identifying online demographics to target.
- Analyze the success of campaigns, translating anecdotal or quantitative / qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the digital marketing and social media campaign activities. Monitor and optimize campaign progress regularly and produce reports during and after campaigns.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. Stay ahead of latest trends in the digital sector and make recommendations for new strategies on a regular basis.
- Develop key performance indicators across all online channels and report on a regular basis.
- Manage the overall budget for Digital Marketing, working closely with third-parties, agencies or consultants when required.
- Support the team with learning outcomes and SMART objectives in line with the delivery of the above during busy periods, leave and absence.
- Develop and share best practice and introduce efficiencies to maximize ROAS.
What were looking for in our Digital Marketing Manager:
- Digital/Marketing related degree
- Relevant professional qualification CIM-desirable
- Experience managing relationships with, or working for a digital/marketing agency.
- Experience using analytics and monitoring tools to report on complex qualitative and quantitative data, with the ability to analyze and present information, compile reports and make informed recommendations.
Computer Skills:
- MS Office Suite
- Social media tools, including Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, and Sprout Social.
- Experience using Google Analytics, Adwords, Double Click, Facebook Business Manager, and Bing Ads.
