We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to join our team. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answering calls promptly and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for providers.
- Collect patient information and verify insurance details accurately.
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Utilize software systems including Epic and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments, treatment plans, and office policies.
- Support the dental or medical team as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical office is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records is essential.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and software, particularly Epic and Dentrix.
- Strong administrative skills with experience in front desk operations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
