Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk tasks at our dental office, providing exceptional customer service to patients, and supporting the administrative needs of the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Answer and manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect patient payments and post charges
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in using office software (dentrix)and electronic medical records systems
- Experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
