Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of dental office procedures. This role is crucial in ensuring that our office runs smoothly, providing exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient administrative functions.
Office Hours:
Tue, Wed 11-7
Fri, Sat 9-5
Operational Management:
- Daily Operations: Managing the day-to-day activities of the dental practice, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Scheduling: Coordinating patient appointments, managing appointment books, and ensuring efficient use of the dentist's and hygienists' time.
- Staff Management: Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising administrative staff. This also includes performance management, resolving conflicts, and creating schedules.
- Financial Management: Overseeing billing, processing insurance claims, managing accounts receivable, and handling financial transactions.
- Inventory Management: Managing the ordering and stocking of dental supplies and equipment.
- Facility Management: Ensuring the dental office is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Patient Care and Relations:
- Patient Communication: Addressing patient inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing excellent customer service.
- Patient Records: Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
- Appointment Management: Confirming appointments, managing cancellations and rescheduling.
- Patient Satisfaction: Ensuring a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.
Compliance and Regulatory:
- Healthcare Regulations: Ensuring the practice adheres to all relevant healthcare regulations and laws.
- HIPAA Compliance: Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Safety Protocols: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Business Development: May assist with marketing the practice and managing the practice's online presence.
- Goal Setting: May be involved in setting and achieving practice goals.
- Reporting: May be responsible for generating reports on practice performance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
