Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Dental Administrator to join our team. Must have prior dental administration experience. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our office by managing front desk tasks, supporting staff, and enhancing patient experiences. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with electronic records, and a solid understanding of dental insurance.
Duties
- Greet patients, answer phones, and manage appointment scheduling
- Maintain accurate electronic dental records (ClearDent experience is an asset)
- Process insurance claims and assist patients with account inquiries
- Support billing and payment processing
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized reception and office environment
Requirements
- 2+ years of dental administration or reception experience
- Knowledge of dental insurance and claims processing
- Experience with EMR systems; ClearDent preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule
- Full-time hours, Monday–Friday
- Mondays & Tuesdays: 11:30am–7:30pm (alternating evening shifts)
- Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: 7:30am–3:30pm
- One Saturday every 2 months (Fall & Winter only)
