North America Delivery Productivity Specialist
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Productivity Specialist to join our team!
The Productivity Specialist is responsible for leading client workshops, conducting time and labor studies, analyzing data, developing labor standards, and presenting findings to clients. This role involves leading both clients and internal teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.
Remote position based in Canada or the United States.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Delivery
- Provide domain expertise to oversee functional or technical approach, tasks, and deliverables on a project
- Lead requirement gathering sessions, develop functional or technical design, and provide production support and assist other consultants with their respective tasks
- Lead analysis and development of labor studies
- Provide direction related to observation activities in a labor productivity engagement
- Follow appropriate methodology tools for internal and/or external use on projects
- Create and deliver client facing presentations with assistance from others on complex topics
- Collaborate team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality tasks and deliverables
- Support Project Manager by highlighting potential project risks in a timely manner
- Provide timely project status update for assigned tasks
- Demonstrate good understanding of Axsium products and services (e.g., Opus, Change Management); and be able to identify associated client opportunities to project leadership
- Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions and conduct
- Demonstrate the ability to navigate difficult situations in a calm and structured way and seek help if required
- Confidently lead Axsium team in discussions and workshops with the client
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients on projects
- Gain expertise with Axsium service offerings and WFM vendor landscape, and find opportunities for additional work to share with project leadership
- Leverage domain expertise to provide insight to clients
- Timely and accurate submission of timecards and expense reports
- Proactively provide notification of availability and adhere to project assignment hours
- Comply with Axsium data security policies and HR (Human Resources) policies
- Communicate clearly, effectively, and in a timely manner with peers, leadership, and all others at Axsium
- Effectively use bench time for Axsium’s improvement and for personal development
- Coach other Consultants on the project
- Act as an ambassador for Axsium culture in personal presentation, commitment, and integrity
- Take personal ownership and accountability for individual ability to positively impact Axsium’s company

- Maintain and continuously seek improvement to domain expertise, through training and experience
- Participate in internal Axsium initiatives and projects
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps, assess options, and recommend effective solutions Clear and effective communication skills, with attention to detail; able to facilitate requirement-gathering sessions, lead design workshops, and present findings to project teams, senior stakeholders, and executives
- 5+ years of consulting experience delivering labor productivity projects or related initiatives
- 5+ years of experience using labor productivity tools and methodologies such as EASE, MOST, or Standards Pro (considered an asset)
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team
- Organizational and team coordination skills, with the ability to support clients in applying best practices
- Experience with database extraction and data analysis, including use of SQL, statistical software, and Excel
- Experience creating data visualizations and producing reports and presentations for client use
- Experience working in remote or distributed team environments
- Degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including extended on-site engagements and occasional evening or weekend work
