Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver/Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team with huge potential for growth. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, safe operation of forklifts and other equipment. This position requires a commitment to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all assembly, shipping/receiving and delivery tasks. Applicant must have a valid Saskatchewan drivers license.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts and hand equipment.
- Accurately loading orders for fulfillment according to customer specifications.
- Process incoming shipments by checking for accuracy and inspecting for damage.
- Maintain organized inventory records.
- Ensure all shipping documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse and manufacturing operations to improve efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and replenishment.
- Assist other departments as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing plant setting is preferred, particularly in assembly, shipping/receiving and delivery roles.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, delivery truck, and other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with order processing and order fulfillment systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
