We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting and moving tasks.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, routes, and any issues encountered during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any delivery-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading processes and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform moving tasks as required.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
