VoiceTyper is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Data Analyst - Digital Marketing for a remote position. This position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of international search engine marketing accounts and conducting in-depth data analysis. Comprehensive training is provided. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, with alternative part-time arrangements available. The position is fully remote with occasional opportunities for in-person collaboration and meetings as preferred in Edmonton, Alberta.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and manage a portfolio of international search engine marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising) to boost website traffic and drive conversions
- Optimize and adjust campaign bids to maximize profitability and ensure peak performance
- Analyze and interpret financial data and key performance indicators to uncover actionable campaign change tactics
- Utilize internal reports to provide data-driven insights that enhance campaign effectiveness
- Develop insightful, actionable reports to optimize performance from multiple angles
- Conduct in-depth competitor and query research to identify optimization initiatives
- Audit and review campaign structure details to improve efficiency and results
- Experiment with writing new ad copy and craft compelling customer messages that convert
- Build product level knowledge to evaluate opportunities
- Review user level information and segment into audience lists for targeting purposes
- Work with cross functional departments to execute projects
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Operations Management, Marketing, Economics, other Analysis related programs or equivalent experience
- Experience conducting analysis on large data sets
- Strong self-direction and initiative with ability to work independently
- Creative thinking and idea generation capabilities would be an asset
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects
- Proficiency performing analysis using Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Visualizations, Formulas)
- Sound judgement and data driven decision making ability
- Ability to summarize complicated analysis and make recommendations
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Excellent written English communication skills and the ability to write short form advertising copy
- Knowledge of PPC / SEM advertising platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising) would be an asset
- Experience with C# would be an asset to be able to modify report generation code directly
