Marcan Pharmaceuticals Inc. is a pharmaceutical company actively involved in the development, marketing, sales and distribution of branded and generic pharmaceutical products for the Canadian market. Based in Ottawa, Marcan currently manufactures and distributes a variety of drugs covering a wide range of therapeutic categories through numerous dosage forms. Marcan is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to add to the team!
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, returns, questions and complaints.
- Track and monitor all deliveries to ensure they adhere to our requests and arrive by scheduled requirement date.
- Complete invoicing in a timely manner once order has been delivered.
- Work closely with the Sales Representatives to ensure their needs and requirements are being met.
o Provide new or updated order forms when necessary.
o Handle any order errors/good stock returns.
o Handle New Account Requests.
- Manage all independent pharmacy returns, maintaining accuracy of replacement products
- Assist Finance with invoice requests and account details.
- Providing accurate reports of current stock to all reps weekly, including back-order reports
- Perform a variety of administrative duties to assist with account updates and changes.
- Provide post-sales support and account maintenance (i.e product shortages and damages)
- Assist both Retail Pharmacy managers and Hospital managers with customer requests.
- Reporting, analyzing, and performing other duties as assigned.
Customer Service Representative Skills Required:
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to communicate in French is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong capacity for retention of information
- Experience using Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft products
- Ability to commute into the office Monday to Thursday
