We are currently looking for a full-time Creative Coordinator to join our team. In this role, the incumbent will coordinate the day-to-day creative and relating production efforts under the direction of the Creative Director. They will be responsible for coordinating various creative projects and project elements, ensuring a seamless and successful delivery. The successful candidate is expected to be collaborative, proactive, resourceful and extremely organized. The Creative Coordinator is an important supporting role, so the department can maintain an environment where creativity can flourish, whilst enabling an efficient creative process in a fast-paced creative and production environment.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:
  • Coordinates multiple creative projects and/or project elements simultaneously, maintains an overview of creative projects from start to finish, enabling successful project completion against deadlines and budgets.
  • Works closely with key stakeholders from Creative, Studio, Production and Account teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Monitors and regularly updates creative project management/resourcing tool.
  • Works with Creative Director to assess and understand talent needs, then inputs creative staff assignments in project management tool.
  • Acts as the department’s internal point of contact for any creative requests.
  • Monitors project risk on an ongoing basis, escalating issues as required and recognizes internal creative needs or project risks before they occur.
  • Monitors out of scope requests, elevates issues immediately to initiate additional estimating/billing.
  • Maintains constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities.
  • Monitors day to day project activities and resourcing, tracks over-/under-utilization of creative staff, pro-actively works on resolving any issues.
  • Proactively provides required updates to Creative Director in a timely fashion.
  • Proactively works with producers/production to monitor schedules and project needs for creative.
  • Assists in the production of new business presentations and materials as assigned.

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:
  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in marketing, advertising, communication or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in creative coordinating in advertising/communications agencies and/or marketing/content creation field.
  • Above-average organizational and time management skills, strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of production workflows.
  • Ability to handle complex relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Able to coordinate and move multiple creative projects to final completion within a fast-paced environment.
  • MS Office (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint), AirTable and other project management tools and applications – must be tech savvy
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign – nice to have)
