We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to support our growing Waste Services division. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our values alive in the field—ensuring that as we scale, we continue to lead with care, connection, and community.

Position Summary
As a Project Coordinator (PC), you will join a dynamic and diverse project management team dedicated to executing a wide range of impactful projects—from straightforward soil disposal to large-scale remediation, demolition, and environmental construction initiatives. In this role, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, mentorship, and guidance from seasoned project managers and senior leadership, ensuring you have the support needed to thrive. Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide general project support: meeting prep, document management, travel booking, and expense tracking.
- Create and distribute project documentation, including training materials and project plans.
- Monitor LEMS and track site costs daily to support project financials.
- Prepare and manage daily timesheets, ensuring timely stakeholder approvals.
- Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly project reporting.
- Enter project data into systems accurately and on time.
- Assist with estimates, funding requests, change orders, schedules, forecasting, and project closeout.
- Set up projects for invoicing and ensure required billing documentation is in place.
- Prepare invoice summaries and process invoices and purchase orders.
- Manage field paperwork approvals and distribution.
- Generate estimates for disposal and remediation work.
- Maintain client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support field work and project execution through various functions and tasks.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong recordkeeping and reporting skills.
- Excellent multitasking and time management in high-paced environments.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Willing to take on extra duties and support team needs as required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
This role may require a combination of office-based, remote, and on-site work depending on business needs. Employees should be prepared for:
- Extended periods of sitting, standing, or computer use
- Occasional travel to operational sites or client locations
- Exposure to outdoor or industrial environments, including varying weather and terrain
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety protocols
