Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through to close-out. This role ensures projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As the primary point of contact, the Project Manager coordinates between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive project excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, scopes of work, and performance
- Monitor construction progress and adjust schedules/resources as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
- Review project documents, drawings, and specifications
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Track project financials and provide regular budget updates
- Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with site superintendents to ensure effective field execution
- Lead project close-out and manage all documentation and deficiency resolution
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, and budgeting
- Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- PMP or Gold Seal certification is an asset
Nice to Have
- Experience in design-build or value engineering
- Familiarity with lean construction practices
- Knowledge of Alberta Building Code and OH&S regulations

Pay: $115,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
