Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plasma Table Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC Plasma Table machines with a strong understanding of machining processes. This role is essential for producing high-quality metal components and requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. THIS POST IS FOR AN AFTERNOON SHIFT.
Duties
- Input files and operate CNC plasma table to create metal components for structural elements.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for production.
- Assemble components as needed and collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular checks and minor repairs as required.
- Safely operate forklifts and other hand tools in the manufacturing environment.
- Assist in programming the press brake machine for specific tasks when necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Plasma Operator or in a similar machining role.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
- Experience with welding, lathe operations, and assembly processes is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
