CNC Operator Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments like calipers to ensure accuracy in production.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience with CNC programming software is an asset.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and understanding of machining processes.
- 2–3 years of experience operating CNC machinery in woodworking or cabinetry.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques is advantageous.
- Experience with welding is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
