CNC Operator Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with CNC machinery. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and programming components to meet precise specifications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.
Duties
- Operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to engineering specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly and finishing tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations.
- Program CNC machines using SolidWorks or similar software for optimal performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Measure finished products using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate lathe machines effectively.
- Proficiency in programming CNC machinery, preferably with SolidWorks experience.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in fabrication and assembly.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$31.72 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
