Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision components. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Set up, operate, program, and run CNC lathe machines according to drawing specifications and production schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer requirements/industry standards
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments for precise adjustments and inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with hand tools and their proper usage in machining tasks.
- Experience operating milling machines is beneficial but not required
- Strong understanding of Quality Control processes to ensure product integrity.
- Ability to program CNC machines effectively for various operations.
- Experience in assembling mechanical components is preferred.
- Previous experience with CNC machinery is required
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Owned tools - Asset but not required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
