The Role:
The Program Administrative Support Clerk is key to keeping the team running smoothly. Responsibilities include organizing office resources, coordinating technology, and supporting internal communications - all of which help deliver high-quality service to citizens and clients. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Experience providing administrative support in an office environment.
  • Experience / training in word processing, spreadsheet and other standard computer applications.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence or equivalent.

Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience providing administrative support in an office environment.
  • Experience working with records management.
  • Experience working with the public.

About this Position:
There is currently one (1) permanent, full-time position available in Terrace. The Point of Assembly for this position is Lakelse Lake Park.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to two (2) days at home per week subject to an approved Telework Agreement.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies in Terrace.
Enhanced Security Screening will be required.
