Cleaner/Morgue Attendant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated part time cleaner and morgue attendant to join our team. As a Cleaner, your main responsibility will be to maintain a clean environment for the employees and residents of this office/residence.

As a morgue attendant, your main responsibility is to ensure the smooth transition of a decedent coming into our care or leaving our care. This portion of the position is on call and best suited for someone who has the ability to be at our facility on short notice.

Shifts Available:

Hiring for part-time cleaner and on call morgue attendant.

Key Responsibilities:

Uphold top cleanliness standards for the facility by:

• Ensure entrance, hallways, and common areas for the office and morgue are clean, and well-maintained.
• Manage garbage disposal and cleaning of common areas for the office and morgue, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Alternate cleaning of windows and sills.
• Identify and report repairs and maintenance, and inventory status to supervisors.
• Foster positive relationships with office staff through respectful interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Uphold top cleanliness standards in the residence by:

• Manage garbage disposal and cleaning of living areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Ensure kitchen is kept clean, wash dishes as required.
• Wash and fold laundry and bedding as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least one year of cleaning experience is preferred.
• Good customer service.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work around the deceased.
• Must provide a clean criminal record check.

Compensation:

$25 per hour, will be reviewed after 3 month probation.
