Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all users. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct commercial cleaning of facilities to meet health and safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks as required.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all cleaning duties are completed within designated timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility users promptly.
- Assist in facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are well-kept and functional.
Requirements
- Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various cleaning tasks.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.
