SPARK is a provider/subcontractor of the Entry to School Program (a school readiness program funded by MCCSS under the Early Years Pillar of the Ontario Autism Program). We are presently seeking a full-time Classroom Facilitator to join our team for a 2-month contract in supporting this innovative program. Responsibilities and Duties:
· Provision of service as a part of the Entry to School program team
· Implementing an early learning curriculum within a group setting, with focus on the facilitation of skill-development in preparation of starting school
· Accessing guidance and implementing recommendations from a multidisciplinary supervisory team composed of Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, and Behaviour Analytic professionals
· Prioritizing client safety, dignity, and autonomy
· Adhering to SPARK’s policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience working with autistic preschool-aged children
· Commitment to progressive, ethical, and strength-based services that aim to affirm clients’ neurodivergent identities
· Effective communication skills
· Takes initiative and works well independently and as part of a team
· Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
