What we're looking for:
- An evidence based Chiropodist who enjoys their full scope
- Motivated and hardworking individual wanting to develop their patient base.
- The candidate will participate in marketing and health promotion to help build their practice
- Ability to work in a team setting
- A positive and outgoing attitude
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement a treatment program in accordance with the professional college’s standards of practice.
- Educate patients on their treatment program and proper maintenance and prevention techniques.
- Advanced skills in all foot care services such as corn removal, callus debridement, wart and fungal treatment, diabetic foot care, pediatric foot care, ingrown toenail treatment, etc.
- Must have a thorough understanding of biomechanics and orthotic adjustment and prescribing
- Advise patients on health and lifestyle benefits to aid in their treatment to regain active daily living.
- Consults with other allied health care professionals within the clinic to develop treatment plans for clients.
- Is proactive at building a successful Chiropodist business within the clinic where patients are both acquired and retained.
- Maintains patient records, charts and the EMR.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Qualifications
- Must be a good standing licensed Chiropodist under the College of Chiropodists of Ontario with current professional liability insurance.
- Excellent patient service skills that build loyalty and referrals.
- Proven track record of meeting and achieving goals/targets.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $43,782.86-$119,783.34 per year
