We are currently looking for a CHEF de PARTIE to join our dynamic team at BLACK+BLUE RESTAURANT. Inspired by the classic steakhouses of Chicago, Black+Blue re-imagines the concept for a new generation. A massive dining room built around a custom-built meat locker, filled with the most exotic and precious cuts, it's the sexiest room and hottest vibe in the city. A three-storey temple dedicated to creating amazing experiences, expressly designed for the people who make Vancouver an amazing place to be.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

· Past experience working as a Chef de Partie at similar fine dining establishments with 3-5 years of cooking experience (preferred)

· Basic butchery skills & knowledge; ability to work on meat/fish station is required

· Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation; enforce sanitation protocol and safety standards for every team member

· Ability to work well in a team; maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and guests

· Excellent communication skills

· Passion for delivering quality food and service

· Multitasking and organizational ability

· Available to work shifts during weekends and holidays.
