Mountain Valley Gas Station Locally owned & operated.
Location: Slocan, BC
Applications are opened for 2-3 part-time cashier/gas station attendants. Candidates should be available for varied shifts including evenings/weekends. Position is part-time starting at approximately 20 hours per week with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
Job Details:
- Greet and acknowledge all customers and provide exceptional service.
- Cash management including payment by cash, debit/credit and closing duties including deposits and daily reconciliation.
- Daily cleaning of store including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and use of cleaning sprays.
- Inventory management and accuracy. FIFO, write-offs, cycle counts, ordering, annual inventory counting. May include assisting with the unloading of stock or supplies from supplier vehicles.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping. Ensure displays and promotional signage are up to date. Restocking and forward-facing merchandise, recording low-inventory amounts.
- Assist in processing, replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock
- Assist with both bottle depot as well as delivery business processes.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
Relevant work experience is a strong asset, but not required; training will be provided. A warm and friendly personality. Should be able to safely lift 40lbs and complete repetitive tasks. Preference to candidates seeking long-term employment in the area.
