We’re Hiring! Cashier & Bakery Clerk – Olde Village Bakery, North Rustico
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where the smell of fresh baking fills the air and the line-up never stops? Olde Village Bakery is looking for a friendly, efficient, and energetic Cashier/Bakery Clerk to join our team.
This position is for 6-8 weeks of work with the potential to extend!
What You’ll Do:
- Greet every guest with a smile and top-notch service
- Process cash and card transactions quickly and accurately on Square POS
- Keep bakery cases stocked and tidy
- Package baked goods and handle special orders
- Assist with coffee service as needed
- Help keep the shop clean and organized, even during peak rushes
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in customer service or cashier work (bonus if it’s in food service)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a friendly attitude
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with money handling
- Team player with a “jump in where needed” mindset
- Comfort standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Must be available Wednesday through Sunday
- Must have reliable transportation to and from North Rustico

Pay: $17.00-$17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
