This opportunity is for three permanent positions working 75 hours biweekly
The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Board (WSCB) administers workplace health and safety and workers’ compensation in the territory. WSCB’s mission is to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses in partnership with employers and workers and to support workers when injuries occur. We take care of injured workers by facilitating their stay at work, return to work and recovery.

The Role:
Case Managers are responsible for providing quality proactive services by investigating and adjudicating initial and ongoing entitlement for compensation claims. This role works collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, treatment providers, and others to ensure injured workers remain at work whenever possible or receive early and safe return to work opportunities, healthcare assistance, and rehabilitation services.
Essential Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in disability management, health care, social sciences or a related discipline.
- Experience performing medium or complex case management in a decision-making capacity within social services, health care, insurance, disability management, or a related environment.
- Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking and sound decision-making, including the ability to investigate, assess, and make informed determinations in complex situations.
- Experience researching, interpreting, analyzing, and applying legislation and policy.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with internal staff and external stakeholders such as employers, healthcare providers, and service partners to support case management objectives.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
