Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our renovation team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to read and interpret schematics. This role involves working on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial constructions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Duties
- Perform carpentry work for residential and commercial renovation projects
- Assemble and construct structures using wood, metal, and other materials.
- Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform maintenance person tasks including repairs and installations as needed.
- Execute caulking tasks to seal joints and seams for weatherproofing.
- Engage in concrete forming for foundations, slabs, and other structures.
- Install drywall efficiently while ensuring a smooth finish.
- Carry out cabinet installation with precision, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Work on roofing projects, including installation of shingles or other roofing materials.
- Install siding to enhance the aesthetics and durability of buildings.
- Build custom structures as per client specifications while maintaining safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in renovation or construction.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
- Experience with drywall installation, cabinet installation, roofing, siding, caulking, concrete forming, and general maintenance person tasks is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship on every project.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
