Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures in residential and commercial settings. Who can read drawings and build from start to finish.
Duties
- Perform carpentry tasks such as building, repairing, and installing structures made of wood, drywall, and other materials
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately
- Install structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and flooring
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged wood or fixtures
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in carpentry techniques including concrete finishing, concrete forming, flooring installation, and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in carpentry work
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience in renovating, restoring, or building structures is a plus
