Job Summary
Seeking Cantonese-speaking part-time caregiver and companion for senior parents on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings 6 to 9 pm, and Friday mornings 8 am to 12 noon (total of 16 hours) to start as soon as possible.
Requirements: minimum 2 years of caregiving experience with an associate degree and/or equivalent experience. While senior parents are Cantonese speakers, applicants must also speak English and have legal authorization to work in Canada. We do not offer visa sponsorships.
Male senior has early stages of Alzheimer’s. Responsibilities: assist with personal hygiene including dressing and grooming, medication reminders, simple meal prep and cooking, turning on TV, light housekeeping duties, and laundry.
Female senior has atypical Parkinson's and is disabled. Diaper changes and monitoring for comfort.
Previous work references, First Aid, CPR and recent police criminal check required. Commitment of at least one year or more. Please submit resume and cover letter.
