What’s the Gig?
Service Associates provide friendly, helpful service to customers across all areas of Jack’s Car Spa. This versatile role supports operations in the wash tunnel, front desk and retail centre, self-serve dog wash, self-serve vacuums, car and truck wash bays, lot and bay cleanliness, and basic express detailing services.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and assist across all service areas (wash tunnel, front desk, retail, self-serve areas).
- Operate the wash tunnel safely and monitor for issues.
- Assist with retail transactions and front desk inquiries.
- Support customers using self-serve vacuums, dog wash, truck wash, and other amenities.
- Perform express detailing services: vacuuming carpets and seats, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows and mirrors.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the lot, wash bays, and common areas. This includes spraying down bays, sweeping, removing garbage, managing waste bins, light landscaping (e.g., weeding, clearing debris), and ensuring walkways and customer areas are safe and tidy.
- Monitor and replenish supplies (soap, towels, retail products).
- Report maintenance or equipment needs promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Other duties as assigned to support team operations.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent, or in pursuit of.
Work Schedule
- Car Spa is open 7am to 9pm, 7 days a week during the summer months.
- Team members must be available to open for at least one shift per week and close for at least two shifts per week.
Work Environment
Service Associates work in a dynamic and physically engaging environment. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods, performing repetitive movements, bending, stooping, and kneeling while cleaning and assisting customers.
Employees may be exposed to wet, slippery conditions, cleaning agents, noise, and vibration from equipment. Tasks may require handling heavy objects up to 50 lbs and working both indoors and outdoors.
Attention to safety protocols and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting are essential.
