Summary
Cait's Sweet Bites & Beanery is seeking a Barista to join our team in Prince George, BC. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality beverages and baked goods while providing excellent customer service. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and baked goods
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
- Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions
- Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met
- Train new staff on coffee preparation techniques and customer service practices
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or relevant experience in the food industry
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive experiences
- Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with POS systems is an asset but not mandatory.
