Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our standards of excellence.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Assist with meal preparation and ingredient organization to streamline kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak service times.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Greek/Middeteranean restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills, able to work collaboratively with others in the kitchen.
