Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and cabinetry, with the ability to create high-quality custom cabinets . This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with clients and designers to ensure that projects meet specifications and are completed on time.
Duties
- Construct, assemble, and install cabinets according to specifications and design plans.
- Use CNC machines for precision cutting and shaping of materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood products.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Assist in restoring or repairing existing cabinetry as needed.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Competence in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during work shifts.
