No experience needed, vehicle is needed. Wages between 20-22/hour, depending on experience, vehicle, candidate, etc. 50% of the work is at the shop in Keating Crossroads, other 50% is at client homes across greater Victoria area, this is why a vehicle is needed.
A little about me; my name is Jordan. I'm the owner of Island Cabinet Refinishing. You'd be working directly with me, by yourself or with our other worker Jared as we continue to grow. I'm a pretty relaxed guy, I like music, working out, mountaineering, Jiu Jitsu, podcasts and I enjoy my work. I strive to be a good person and the best at what I do.
We refinish cabinets. Usually taking wood kitchen cabinets and painting them using cutting edge products and techniques.
The job would entail: removing cabinet doors on site, prepping off floors, counters, walls etc. with paper, poly and tape, cleaning cabinets, sanding, patching, helping Jared and I while we spray and cleaning up afterward. Shop work would be cleaning, sanding, patching doors, drilling holes, tidying up, loading, unloading and helping me ( or Jared) when spraying. I'll teach you anything you want/need to know.
Good vision and an eye for detail is vital, hand-eye coordination is also important. We'll be working with fine details to make our finished product the best on the market. I enjoy the work and so does Jared. You work with your hands, try to get better and learn different prepping techniques, try different products and methods, and you'll get to help completely transform kitchens and bathrooms for good people.
We make clients very happy so the work is pretty satisfying.
