Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. You will be responsible for reading plans, measuring and cutting materials, assembling cabinetry, and finishing products with a high standard of quality. Projects range from kitchen cabinets and vanities to mobile carts and specialty wood builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and cut lists
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
- Build, install, and repair custom cabinetry, furniture, or carts
- Operate woodworking tools and machines safely (e.g., table saws, routers, sanders)
- Sand, stain, paint, or finish surfaces as required
- Ensure precise fitting and alignment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with the design/build team to meet timelines and standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cabinet maker, carpenter, or woodworker
- Skilled in using woodworking hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of wood types, joinery, and finishing techniques
- Ability to work independently or with a small team
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials when required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
