Job Summary
We are seeking for a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Sales Executive to join our team in Mississauga. This role focuses on new business development and strategic account growth across transportation services, with a Strong Focus in the Lumber and Steel Industries. Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new accounts and drive revenue growth through prospecting, cold calling, meetings, and presentations.
- Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities within 3PL, warehousing, and transportation segments.
- Develop and manage account plans for key clients, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Maintain and expand a strong database of qualified prospects.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention through consistent follow-up and service delivery.
- Lead new client onboarding and communicate operational requirements effectively.
- Collaborate closely with operations to ensure alignment between client needs and service capabilities.
- Support and mentor account managers or supervisors in handling key clients when needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Business Development and Sales experience in the Steel and Lumber Industries.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Logistics, Business, or related field
- Strong understanding of warehousing, trucking (LTL/FTL), and logistics services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High level of initiative, professionalism, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be comfortable interacting with all levels of internal departments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
