Branch Administrative Coordinator
About the division: Region Operations offices are the ministry integrators for all transportation services in their geographic location, and provide a leadership role for local ministry employees, related to local affinity, employee engagement and workplace culture, regardless of their ministry reporting structure.

In this dynamic role, you will:- provide support and guidance to the branch in administrative, financial and human resource policies and processes.
- coordinate the branch director's daily schedule.
- assist in the preparation and delivery of responses for various senior officials.
- monitor and coordinate various materials and report discrepancies.
- support the divisional issues management processes and coordinate the flow of information for the branch.
What you bring to the team
Administrative knowledge:
You have:- knowledge of administrative support functions.
- the ability to prepare reports, monitor expenditures and provide support on HR issues.
- tact and diplomacy to ensure effective relationships with staff of Executive Director's, Assistant Deputy's, Deputy Minister's and Minister's office.
Organizational and analytical skills:
You can:- deal with changing priorities with short deadlines in a high pressure environment.
- analyze financial reports, determine trends and assist with issues management.
Communication and interpersonal skills:
- You have communication and interpersonal skills to respond to inquiries and issues, prepare written responses and reports
Other essential skills:
You have:- proficiency with computer software to prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations and use HR and financial information systems.
- mathematical skills to prepare and manage branch budget, purchasing card and travel card transactions.
