Overview
We are a growing motel seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to handle daily financial management and administrative support duties. This position offers mostly remote work with flexible hours (candidates must reside in Duncan or Vancouver area).
Job Responsibilities
Financial & Bookkeeping Duties
- Manage daily hotel revenue and expenses, process and reconcile room revenue and all operational income to ensure accurate recording
- Handle supplier payments, employee payroll processing, and expense management
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Assist with bank reconciliations and tax filing procedures
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Maintain customer accounts receivable and payable records

- Assist with daily hotel administrative operations
- Organize and file financial and administrative documents
- Help prepare various reports and documentation
- Support data analysis and statistical work for other departments
RequirementsBasic Qualifications
- Finance, Accounting, or related field background; college diploma or higher preferred
- Proficient in accounting software operations (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office applications
- Skills & Abilities
- Solid foundation in financial knowledge and bookkeeping operational skills
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and meticulous work approach
- High sense of responsibility, professional ethics, and trustworthiness
- Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities

- Hourly Rate: $18-20/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
