We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Responsibilities:- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledgers
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities / cashflow
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero for bookkeeping tasks
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectivelyPreferred Skills:
- Experience with QuickBooks and Xero
- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes
- Background in budgeting and account analysis
- Previous work as an accounting clerk or in a related field
